About
About the Author
Rev. George H. Stoddard is an ordained minister and the founder of In His Hands Ministries International. He is also a Southern Gospel and Christian country songwriter and producer, and a prolific author of Christian nonfiction and Bible study resources reaching readers across a growing library of verse-by-verse guides to Scripture. His work is built on a single conviction: that the Bible is meant to be read closely, book by book and verse by verse, by ordinary believers — not summarized for them.
About In His Hands Ministries International
In His Hands Ministries International produces Bible study resources, worship music, and outreach tools aimed at putting Scripture directly into the hands of everyday believers. The Beginning of Knowledge is part of an ongoing library of verse-by-verse study guides covering books across both Testaments.
A Closing Word
Proverbs never really ends — it simply hands the reader back to an ordinary day with a longer list of things to notice: a soft answer, a diligent hand, an honest scale, a friend's wound, a fool's excuse, a woman whose lamp does not go out at night. That was always the point. The fear of the LORD was named as the beginning of knowledge in the very first chapter, not its conclusion, which means this study guide was never meant to be a finish line either. Close the book and go be wise in the next ordinary decision in front of you — that was what all nine hundred and fifteen verses were for.
